Santosha Journey - Foundations to Flow

​Begin a transformative 200-hour Yoga journey designed to guide you from foundation to flow, exploring your potential and building confidence to teach.

This comprehensive training includes:

 

  • Daily Yoga Practice: Build strength, flexibility, and mindfulness with a focus on asanas, alignment, pranayama, and meditation.

  • Asana Lab: Master the fundamentals of alignment, and explore classic poses, modifications, and variations.

  • Pranayama and Meditation: Learn safe and effective breathing techniques and discover key meditation methods.

  • Anatomy and Physiology: Understand the body’s structure and how it relates to Yoga, with practical application in each class.

  • Teaching Techniques: Master the art of sequencing, teaching, and hands-on adjustments, with useful tips.

  • Teaching Methodology & Practicum: Gain hands-on experience, teaching in a supportive environment to build your confidence.

  • Yoga Philosophy & Ethics: Dive deep into the teachings of Yoga, exploring philosophy and the ethics of being a Yoga teacher.

  • Mantras & Chanting: Open the heart through sound, rhythm, and mantra practice, creating a connection with the divine.

  • Chakras & Self-Discovery: Explore the seven chakras and their role in balancing energies, fostering self-love, and encouraging personal growth.

  • The Art of Living a Yogic Life: Explore how to embody Yoga on and off the mat for a balanced, fulfilling life.

  • Practical Approaches to Starting a Yoga Business: Learn the tools you need to begin your own teaching journey.

  • Ongoing Mentorship: Receive continued support and mentorship as you transition from student to teacher.

This program is limited to 10 participants, ensuring that each person receives personal attention, tailored guidance, and a deeply supportive learning environment :-)​​​​

This training is perfect for you if you are looking to deepen your understanding of the Yoga world in all its aspects or step into the role of a teacher.

Practitioner Requirements:

  • Yoga Experience: Students are encouraged to have been practicing Yoga regularly for at least 8 months before joining the training.

  • Attendance: It is recommended that students attend at least 6 of Katherine's classes before the training begins to become familiar with her teaching style and approach.

  • Pre-Training Assignment: A pre-training assignment will be sent out two months before the start of the training. Students are expected to complete and submit the assignment at least two weeks before the training begins.

  • Basic Fitness: The training is physically demanding, so students should have a basic level of fitness and be physically capable of handling the demands of the course.

  • Commitment: Students will need to complete the entire training and pass the final exams to receive their certification.

  • Mindset: This training is a transformative journey, and students are encouraged to come with an open mind and heart, ready to learn, grow, and embrace new experiences.

  • Self-Discipline and Dedication: A commintment to personal and professional growth, with a willingness to practice self-discipline and commitment.

  • Emotional Readiness: Yoga is a holistic practice, so students should be prepared for emotional exploration and transformation during the course.

  • Health Considerations: Students should consult with their healthcare provider if they have any medical conditions that may impact their participation in the training.

  • Supportive Environment: This is an intimate training with a limited number of participants, so students are expected to contribute to creating a supportive, positive learning environment for everyone.

  • Regular Practice: During the training period, students are encouraged to practice Yoga at least 3 times a week with a qualified Yoga teacher to maintain consistency and deepen their practice.
