200H Yoga Teacher Training
Santosha Journey:
Foundations to Flow
Common Questions & Answers
💜 Q: Will I get a certification after the training?
☀️ A: Absolutely! Upon completing the 200-hour training, you’ll receive a Yoga Alliance certification, which allows you to teach Yoga globally. You’ll also be able to get insurance without any trouble.
💜 Q: I can’t do (headstand/touch my toes/insert asana here)… Can I still join?
☀️ A: Yes, you can! Yoga isn’t about achieving specific poses - it’s about connecting with yourself. Asanas (the physical poses) are tools to prepare your body and mind for meditation and deeper self-awareness.
When I took my first YTT 10 years ago, I couldn’t do headstand, splits, or even revolved pyramid. Through consistent practice, I’ve built openness and strength - not just in my body but in my mind and life. You don’t need to be “perfect” to begin; you just need to start.
💜 Q: I’m not confident speaking in front of a group. Will I get enough teaching practice?
☀️ A: Yes, absolutely. The training is designed to build your confidence step by step.
You’ll start with a 10-minute teaching segment, and over time, you’ll progress to teaching a full 60-minute session with clear structure and guidance.
You’ll have plenty of opportunities to practice teaching in a supportive environment with constructive feedback.
💜 Q: I’m not sure if I want to be a Yoga teacher yet. Can I still take the training?
☀️ A: Absolutely! Yoga Teacher Training isn’t just for those who want to teach - it’s for anyone who wants to explore Yoga on a deeper level.
We’ll cover all aspects of Yoga, including asana, pranayama, meditation, philosophy, anatomy, chanting, and more. Plus, you’ll connect with like-minded people and make lifetime yogi friends along the way.
💜 Q: Where will the training be held?
☀️ A: The locations will depend on the size of the group and the weekend’s content, but sessions will take place at my house, local studios, and even a yurt in Bexhill and the surrounding areas.
💜 Q: Will there be a final exam to get the certificate?
☀️ A: Yes, there will be: Two paper exams: one for philosophy and one for anatomy. A final teaching exam, where you’ll teach a 60-minute class. Clear instructions and guidance on how to prepare for these will be provided throughout the training, so you’ll feel confident and ready!
💜 Q: Will I be able to attract students after graduation?
☀️ A: Yes, and I’ll share my own story here. When I started teaching, I had just moved to a new country where I didn’t know a single person in town. If I could build a Yoga career from scratch, so can you!
During the training, I’ll provide practical tools and guidance to help you start your teaching journey. And remember, you’ll attract the people who resonate with your unique energy - so focus on being authentically YOU.
Don’t worry about what other teachers are doing; there’s space for everyone in Yoga.
💜 Q: Can I pay the fee in installments?
☀️ A: Yes you can! Payment plans are available. Just a reminder: our Early Bird price of £2,500 ends in early April, so be sure to take advantage of it!
